This collection of poetry is a reflection of years of thoughts, emotions, life experiences, and most of all, love. Many of these writings reflect the pain and difficulties of life, including disease and disabilities of both the author and her son. The author, a devout Christian and Christ follower, provides hope rooted in substance of truth, that trusting God, in all things, establishes our foundation and understanding for this temporal period on earth. The author, through her poetry, also sees the many joys in life experiences as she completes her journey in her final days, as breast cancer weakened her. It was also Kristine’s sincere hope, with these writings and words to her family, in her final days that the reader be blessed and find comfort as they experience this book of poetry.

(Lois) Kristine Kempker went to be with Jesus after a 40-year battle with breast cancer. Kristine was a devout follower of Jesus Christ, mother of daughter Amy, and a son disabled since birth, Larry Jr. She resided in Cincinnati, Ohio and leaves a family of three sisters (Barbara, Lauren, and Holly) a brother (Bruce Jr.), step-mother (Karen) and church family. All proceeds from this book will be directed to a fund for her disabled son, Larry Jr., who now lives with his father in Michigan.
